FAQ - Why has LoveAtAOL (or) Excite Personals (or, etc.) Closed?

We have no connection or knowledge of why companies make the business decisions they do. We normally don't have access to this type of information.

The free sites usually close, go to a paid model, or simply redirect visitors to a co-branded pay site for financial reasons. Sometimes the sites simply are not profitable, and changes have to be made.
